Tech Advice

Postby wildrose » Sun Jul 15, 2007 8:27 pm

Hi John, I think this is a good idea do you?

Dear Wildrose.
Do you think a permanent Tech' thread would be possible?
All I know about a personal computer, is self defence and first aid.
It would be handy for the people that are experts in the field to pass on tips and advice, even sales and downloads.
For us none tech' minded folk it would be a place to swap ideas and help each other.
I know this is not what the forum is about but, wherever a crowd of people meet, it makes sense to have an area for them to keep the thing they are using to meet, IE their computer working at its best.

I have given a lot of thought about a 'tech' forum.
I don't think that it would be appropriate on our forum. I want to keep the subject matter country music. Or as near as possible as we can.
There are lots of forums for those who need tech advice.
Here are some useful links:

plus many more can be found in Google.
