Thank You All

I would like to say a huge thank you to Roger and everyone who made me so welcome at Skipton on Monday. I could only get up on the Monday due to other committements in the south, but it was well worth the long journey.

I'd like also to thank everyone who came and spoke to me after my set for the great comments and encouragement for the future. I know i'll be seeing some of you again but fingers crossed, i'll see you all again soon.

I've been asked to keep you informed on my CD and when i'm up north again, so keep an eye on the artists gig guide on the forum and i'll keep it updated.

Once again, sincere thanks to all.

only jewellry I lost was a train charm off my bracelt! now burried in the mud no doubt

good photos lisa I'll get mine sorted at the weekend folks.

I can't belive I had to miss Monday night- gutted

I had a fab time though and not bothered by the mud at all - anyone there 3 years ago will tell you what real mud is!

Bands all great and nice to see Boomer again after such a while, brain too as not see them for AGES. All just fab plus a great atmosphere as usual.

I'd like to say a big well done to all involved making skipton as special as it was. Great music, lovely atmosphere and lovely to meet up with friends again and meet new ones too. Thanks to Lynne for dragging me round marquee to meet Brenda and CaroleC! and also to our table buddies Lee24, Marshall & Sylvia and Andy & Jean.

One request though for next year Mary - if its gonna be muddy again can we have a cowboy mud wrestling show ! (oh and more single cowboys!)

Many many thanks to Mary, Roger and team on a fantastic festival at Skipton and the organisation that goes into the festival especially with the changeable weather a credit to everyone involved.

Really enjoyed Little Rock/Cross Country, Brian Hughes, Ade Payne, Dave Cash, Crown Top Kings, Raisin Cain, Muscles and Curves, Henry Smith & country dreams, Rosie and Nancy Ann Lee, Wrangler, and the two from other shores in Travis Collins and Boomer.

My first time at Skipton and loved every minute of it except when we had to go for our tractor tow off the field at 9.45 Monday evening missing Little Rock and John P (gutted) so apologies to everyone as we had to fly not able to say goodbye to everyone.

what can I say... I realy enjoyed my first every Country Music festival.. you are all such lovely friendly people.. thank you Beverley for letting me share your caravan .. I was one of the lucky ones I didn't need tractoring on or off the site would have been an interesting experience though ... I too thought Travis could have done more of his own stuff.. he certainly has the personality to carry it off.. sadly I didn't take any photo's of him as I hadn't taken my camera to the event tent that night.. maybe next time.. yes am considering next time.. if I can pursuade hubby to let me go ;)... loved Ade Payne's set but then again if it wasn't for him I wouldn't have found out about the festival in the first place.. he is one of the few act that venture down south bless him...
