ABC cancels "Nashville"

Postby Moshe » Sun May 15, 2016 12:15 pm

ABC television have cancelled further seasons of NASHVILLE after four seasons.

Maybe the action packed Drama series just had too much drama going on in it, & too many dramatic twists & turns for people to take?
Ratings for season 4 were apparently down, but the makers of "Nashville" are looking round for another network to take up Season 5.

Meanwhile, in the UK, Sky Living channel will be home to season 4 of the drama series which may or may not be the last in a memorable, if rather melodramatic, drama series. Sky Living are planning to air Season 4 this summer.

The cancellation comes after one of the series biggest stars, Connie Briton (Rayna James) expressed her opposition to the absurd new law barring transgender people from using public toilet facilities that do not confirm to their gender at birth.
Apart from being discriminatory, the silliness of this law is mindboggling. Does it mean that state officials will be on guard outside public toilets demanding to see your birth certificate before you can go for a pee?

You couldn't make it up!
