Unfortunately they'll never realise that the world is laughing at them, not with them.

Unfortunately they have hidden friends who try to tell them this but they think they are enemies and refuse to listen or be guided by them.

Fortunately we can ignore them and concentrate on the more important things in life, like wine, women and song.

Fortunately the taxes will be used to set up a new department to deal with the long term unemployed.

Unfortunately they will be gainfully employed as pot collectors in the local country music clubs and be barred from the wine women and song usage.

Fortunately that implies that there will be enough CMCs to empoy them as pot collectors. Like your optimism there.

Unfortunately it might mean a dozen pot collectors per paying customer and like Macdonalds another dozen saying "Have a nice day now".

Fortunately there are some so dim that they cannot get a start at Macdonalds even if it was to go country under an initiative.

Why not ? Seriously, why not ? Cigarette company sponsorship is a thing of the past so why not look to other revenue streams. The fast food outlets (I refuse to call them restaurants) would probably jump at the chance to be identified with some lifestyle events.

unfortunately all of the major companies with an advertising budget have allocated all of their money for the foreseeable future.
brian.

In the 80s I obtained a show sponsorship from a major cigarette company just by writing to them.

I was later told by a friend who headed up an advertising agency that he would not place any advertising with a publication that I was working for because our rates was too cheap to make it worth his companies while.
