no sound on dvd

hi every 1.hope you all had a good xmas.

rite im in need of some help here.iv got some western films on my pc hard drive iv been trying to get them on to dvd but when i burn them i get the picture but no sound on the disc.can any one help out please.thanks dave.
have been in to country music for the last 32 years.i have had my fads of other music heavy metal punk rock.blues but have come back to country each time.

Try using a different burner program.

Install a codec pack. That are that many different versions of .avi files and Windows only copes with a couple on it's own.

I use the following:

Nothing hard just run the .exe file. As a rule I always do a custom install if available to make sure no extra toolbars get installed without me knowing. Once installed you should be able to play and burn them without a problem.

If you still have trouble try using a different burner. I use CD Burner XP which is freeware ( http://cdburnerxp.se/download.php ).
