Aiden J Daniels Band
Playing a mixture of traditional and Americana country music, The Aiden J Daniels Band consist of Aiden J Daniels on lead vocals, with his supporting band, the very popular, Atlanta from West Yorkshire.
Aiden J Daniels, who has been on the country music scene since 2001, and The Atlanta Band, who have been playing the country music scene since 2005, got together, as The Aiden J Daniels Band, in 2007.
Their blend of Americana music combined with the more traditional style of Aiden makes them very popular on the country music festival circuit.

Aiden J Daniels: Rhythm Guitar and Lead Vocals. In 2001, Aiden J Daniels did his first country music gig which seemed like a breath of fresh air after the "you can finish early for the bingo" mentality he had got used to in a lot of the working men’s clubs! Work came in steadily but slowly for a few months, and in an effort to push things along a little, Aiden got in touch with Mr. Roger Wild - one of the organisers of the Skipton Festival for a chance to showcase his talent at the 2002 festival. Roger hadn’t heard of Aiden, and understandably, wasn’t initially forthcoming, but this didn’t deter this intrepid and persistent country singer. Aiden began ringing Roger over and over again, and in an effort to shut him up, he eventually relented, giving him a short slot at the festival. Aiden did 5 songs on the Sunday afternoon, and was such a hit with the audience that it proved difficult to get him off! There followed a rush for his CD’s (the profits of which were donated to charity) which sold 64 in that afternoon alone! So the big-hearted guy had launched his country music career, and now work started coming in much faster, and he finds himself much in demand for the rest of 2003.

So do yourself a favour and catch Aiden J. Daniels on the circuit. You’ll hear a lot of well-known songs, delivered with understanding, quick-witted charm, and the sweetest of voices. And then, of course, you’ll also hear the big hearted guy deliver some of Rob Russell Davies’ original songs in his own special way, and perhaps they might just reach you like they’re starting to reach others. Why don’t you - ‘Give them a Minute’ .

John Davis
</center>

John Davis: Guitar and Lead Vocals. John Davis is the driving force behind Atlanta. Besides being singer and guitarist, he is also a songwriter, John writes all Atlanta`s original songs, and has written songs for other act as well. A good example is "It Ain´t Gonna Rain", a joint venture with Mick McConnell, lead guitar in Smokie, which is on Smokies album "On the Wire".
He has appeared on national television in the UK and toured all over the world, including several times in the USA and Ireland.

Major events on both sides of the Atlantic have been organised by John.
John has a very distinctive voice, which is complimented with Tony and Paolo`s harmonies. His love and devotion for music and his fans is obvious when he is on stage.

Tony Duggan
</center>

Tony Duggan: Lead Guitar, Mandolin and Vocals.
Tony has been a working musician for most of his adult life & has aquired many influences from working in bands as diverse as an Irish Showband, Country bands and Classic rockbands.
The latter half of his career has been spent working with songwriters primarily on orignal music. Where as a result of his rich culture of music, he has found a particular talent for working on and adding exitement and soul to original songs. This has proved particurlarly succsessful with artists such as Julie Strother and now up to the present day on the wealth of songs that comes from the profilic song writer and performer John Davis.
When not playing Tony takes time out on his ocean going yacht to relax, recharge his artistic batteries and gain more inspiration.

Paolo Freemantle: Bass Guitar, Harmonica and Vocals Paolo has played his style of music with his two older brothers for the last twenty years, with a mixture of high range harmonies vocals. He has mainly worked with tribute bands (including Blues Brothers, Paul Weller, Jam and Queen)
For the past three years moving onto a very high level of original music with Atlanta. Were his falsetto harmonies shine through, mixing with John and Tony adding majestic souul and flavour.
"As the spirit and soul of pure harmonies flow inside my head, passing through my vocal chords. My bodys natural instument, I float as light as a feather, as in space, lost time, eyes closed, locked in my own world of melody. Giving to those who listen wormth of feeling in all their souls. This is from myself to all, my gift.." Paolo.

Robin Learoyd</center>

Robin Learoyd; Drums; Vocals Born in the fifties in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, Robin has been a stalwart of the local music scene through four decades during which many bands have used his subtle but powerful style.

Young Robin soon developed a passion for drumming which has persisted to the present day. After abusing the household furniture with random kitchen utensils and hitting everything in sight (including his family) he was eventually bought a drumkit in the sixties by his doting parents and soon began forming, joining and playing in various bands in the neighbourhood. Played first paid gig aged thirteen at the local scout hut, almost got laid so stuck at it, performing Who, Kinks and early Tamla and Stax covers for the locals.

Robin formed Aftermath with mate Mike in the late sixties playing epic progressive rock covers and self penned, self indulgent masterpieces and became popular on the east coast supporting the likes of Leo Sayer, Supertramp, Hawkwind and the infamous Pink Fairies. Radio, television and recording followed before a disappointing courtship with Island Records and the arrival of punk changed his perspective. On hearing the Sex Pistols he cut his hair and jumped on the bandwagon to drum fast and loud for various local outfits with varying degrees of success.

Joined Dodgy Tactics in 1980 who became very popular on the pub circuit in and around Leeds. High profile television and radio slots increased interest in the band and the self financed EP Self Defence was released to much acclaim but limited sales. Session work for television, radio and advertising jingles increased Robin's profile on the local music scene.

Robin hung up his sticks briefly when his children were born but was soon climbing the walls. Luckily, a timely invitation from his old mate from Aftermath to join his band rekindled the passion to play again while his brother Trev charmed him into joining post-hippy cyberpunks Spiderfish, a long term and still active project designed to satisfy the creative urges of whosoever required it (or something like that).

Having been t'drummist with Atlanta since 1999, Robin, like the rest of the guys is enjoying playing with the band more than ever and knows this gets across to the audience. "You can tell by the feedback from the crowd", he says. "We're a good solid unit with some cracking tunes, we have a good old time

Aiden J Daniels Band

In 2007, Aiden met up with his old friend John Davis who is the driving force with the Yorkshire based band Atlanta. Atlanta specialist in Americana music and most of their music is written by band leader John Davis.

They both soon found themselves sharing their passion of country music and made the decision to team up as the Aiden J Daniels Band for larger venues and festivals.

Having already performed at some of the major festivals in 2007 and 2008, they now find themselves in demand for 2009 and 2010.

If you want them for your festival, don’t delay, speak to Aiden or John to confirm your dates. Why not consider booking both Atlanta and Aiden J Daniels Band for the same venue and get a 'quantity' discount (don't mention my name).
