Introducing The Jackson Creek Band

Postby JacksonCreekBand » Thu Jan 15, 2015 11:11 pm

Hey there - I want to introduce you all to the newest C&W band on the scene - we're the Jackson Creek Band and we're based out of Cambridge ( of all places!).
Here's a nice picture of us.

To the right there, that's Ben Ashby, Helene Jones is in the middle and on the left is Ken Hill. We're an acoustic-electric trio based in Cambridge, UK performing country & western, bluegrass and folk music - all with a healthy dose of harmony, some fancy guitar picking and wholesome upright bass beats.

We like to think we're doing Country right.

We're available for all sorts of performances; we'll do a live set of music while you take a break from your line dancing, we'll perform at your pub or your birthday or wedding celebrations. We've not done a Christening yet, but there is always a first time. ;)

So, take a moment and go to our website and have a listen to our music.

We're also on Soundcloud too, if you want to have a good, long listen.

Hope to hear from some of you fine folk real soon.

Keep it live and keep it Country, y'all -

~Helene

Country is a state of mind, not a state of America.

I know it has been a while since your post but I wanted to reply. I am about an hour away in Market Harborough where I do a country rock show on local radio. I am playing Georgia Rose and Angel of Montgomery tonight between ten and midnight. Love your sound, keep up the good work . If you were interested in doing a radio interview PM :D
