Postby London Acoustic Show » Wed Jul 08, 2015 10:30 am

Doyle Dykes, one of country music’s finest pickers, is set to appear at the London Acoustic Show held at the Olympia London on September 12 & 13 2015. Doyle will hold both a masterclass and main stage performance – as well as a meet and greet during the show. Influenced by a wide variety of musical styles and musicians from the Country Music stylings of Chet Atkins to the rock and roll of Duane Eddy, the Beatles, the Allman Brothers and U2, acclaimed guitar virtuoso Doyle Dykes – widely cited along with guitarists such as Tommy Emmanuel as one of the best finger-style guitarists in the world – has developed a distinct, recognizable sound that amazes audiences with skill while capturing hearts with sincerity and soul.

Also appearing are: Albert Lee, Antoine Dufour (in association with Ernie Ball), Luca Stricagnoli, Steve ‘N’ Seagulls, Daniel Ho (in association with Yamaha Music London), Martin Carthy, Jon Gomm (in association with Fishman and JHS), Preston Reed, and Leon Hunt.

The London Acoustic Show in association with Acoustic magazine is aimed squarely at providing a fully-dedicated two-day event for lovers of music, the acoustic guitar and other acoustic instruments. Visitors will have the opportunity to observe first-hand the latest products from world-renowned luthiers and manufacturers, watch the world’s top players live on our main stage and attend quality masterclass and clinics – all under one roof!

We can offer British Country Music Community members a great group discount if a few of you want to go - please give us a call on 01926 339808 to discuss!
