Boomer McLennan Band

Did anyone else see this band at the Yorkshire Dales Country Music Festival? I hadn't heard of them before, but they were absolutely brilliant, and so friendly too, signing autographs after the show etc. I think they are appearing at Fort San Antone on Saturday 30th August.

Yup, we saw Boomer 2 yrs ago for the 1st time at Skipton, and thoroughly enjoyed his show. We've seen him alot since at various clubs and festivals, but enjoyed him probably best at the mini-fest at Suffolk showground where he did a solo spot on the bluegrass afternoon. He opened the day and just sang with his guitar, great stuff.
Saying that though he's really gelling with his band now especially Andy Mottram, [Gary Perkin's lead guitarist moonlighting!]
........This good live music really gladdens the heart doesn't it..........

we saw boomer at the yorkshire dales festival too, he has improved almost beyond recognition since we first saw him at the festival two years ago.
we talked with him after the show ( when the audience finally let him off stage ) and he is both a talented musician and a really nice guy who seems to give his all in every performance.
