What the hell did Dolly Parton look like on the first programme??? Is that what she looks like now? Bloody hell!!!!

Well, I guess the BBC thinks country music is predominantly Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash.

Not much from 1990 onwards! A quick mention of Garth Brooks and Taylor Swift and that was it. Maybe they'll make a Part 2...............????

I saw "The Joy of Country" last night. I thought it was excelent, though rather dismissive of anything post-1990. Still, thoroughly enjoyed it.
Yeah, Dolly's face looked a bit odd- maybe too much plastic surgery? Just look at what Haggard looks like now :shock: :shock: But Dolly is still a great and what she said was good.
A very good prog, but didn't address New Country at all.
