Country Radio Recommendations

Post your recomendations for Country Radio here

WSIX Nashville
http://www.big98country.com/main.html
Oddly programing from this station is blocked on my laptop, something about being outside North america
But my internet radio picks it fine. Quite good mainstream country station. Also Broadcasts american Country countdown sunday afternoons.
One of the better US "Hot Country" stations IMO

WSM Nashville
http://www.wsmonline.com/home/

Nice mix of country music old & new, including stuff outside of the mainstream

Kiss Country 95.7 FM
http://www.957kisscountry.com/main.html

Don't worry. You are not going to hear rap or frantic Dance Toonz on here (anyone in London who happened upon 100FM will know what I'm on about)
This is a "hit Country" station. I quite like this one- out of Alabama, I believe. Pretty much latest country hits & stuff from the past five years or so. They never namecheck tracks, though, so I've had to investigate after :o

Yeah, I like WSM generally, though I find it gets a bit too 'chatty' when their breakfast show comes on (about 11am for us).

Been listening to this http://www.songwriterradio.org/ It's an original songwriter radio from the Wye Creek lads as posted in Artists and Bands.
Country is a state of mind, not a state of America.

Of late I've been enjoying T'Bone's Show.
Especially since it is home grown and you can listen on this 'Catch Up'.

I was going to get round to it!
I never even realised it existed till I looked up John Craven & was direct to his show on this very site. It was then pointed out to me there is a lin k to the station at the top of the page but I never noticed!!
Anyway, I heard part of the show & it was good
Just one question- is this the same John Craven who used to do newsround?

Yeah, Coffee Cody & Country. Great music and I love hearing the traffic reports - there's something really surreal about sitting in Norwich at lunchtime listening to them talk about early morning problems on the roads three thousand miles away!

I use this http://www.tuner2.com/wmp.html, then use the genre drop down facility to select country and get a choice of about 6 different stations.

Don't know if this is the place for this post, but anyone with an iPhone, there is an app on iTunes called country music radio, it's free and streams a reasonable number of country stations from across the world, providing country radio on the move :-)
