Daryle Singletary

Wow! I'm not often shocked when I read that someone has died but this is just so unexpected! And only 46! Saw him a couple of times over the years, most recently at the Nashville Palace 2-3 years ago with Rhonda Vincent (who he's recently recorded an album with).

No indication as yet as to the cause of death. He performed a gig this past Friday & reportedly appeared well with no obvious signs of health concerns.

Wow, that is awful. I was a big fan of his - he had a really good country voice. I recently bought "American Grandstand", his latest album with Rhonda Vincent and I saw him in Vegas in December 2013 - this is the video I took of him playing one of his early hits:

His music aside, the saddest thing is he was only 46 and he left a wife, two daughters aged 5 and 3, and twin 7 year old sons.
