Kris Kelly - The Artist

Kris has been in the entertainment business for many years as a singer, songwriter and all round entertainer. Always giving 100 percent, Kris has been one of Britain's favourite solo acts ever since her return from Norway, five years ago. She has been nominated for the Best Female Artist award by the BCMA, North Country, and Country Music Roundup magazines, 1993, 1994, 1995 and 1996. Kris has been voted Soloist of the Year at The Trent CMC Liverpool 1993, Carlisle CMC 1994 and 1995 and The Queens Club Barton on Humber 1995.

The 1997 Tour

With the imminent release of her CD "Dawn of a New Beginning" Kris undertook her first tour with a band in many years in August 1997. The tour included venues as diverse as the legendary Americana Festival, The Yorkshire Dales Festival, and The Winding Wheel Theatre in Chesterfield, as well as smaller dance oriented clubs. The show was so well received that all Kris's major work will, in the future, be with a live band.

The 1998 Show

Once again Kris will be touring with a live band. The show has already appeared at a Flex Promotions Line Dance event at The Commodore Suite, Nottingham, and equally successfully at Pontin's, Prestatyn where they played in front of a cabaret audience. Kris's 1998 show encompasses all styles of Country from the latest C.M.T. and Line Dance Classics, Country the way it used to be, Irish Country, songs she has made her own, and songs from her CD "Dawn of a New Beginning". The show can be tailored to suit any venue.
